SAFETY SHOE COLLECTION
With each component carefully developed and evaluated, Blåkläder’s collection of safety shoes meets the same high standards and requirements that the company has for its high-quality workwear.
RETAINED SHOCK ABSORPTION
The foot naturally has a superior shock absorption. You do not want to remove this, but instead preserve it. With a well-chosen shock-absorbing material, comfort increases and reduces shock absorption from other parts of the body.
The footbed is properly designed to provide dynamism and stability in the step, from the heel insertion, through the roll phase to the ejection phase. This whole movement has been optimized by orthopedic engineers from Camp Pro.
GREAT WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION
The footbed is designed so the foot gets as large contact with the surface of the footbed and integration with the shoe as possible. It distributes the weight put on the foot and gives a supportive function and prevents musculoskeletal disorders.
“You wear your SAFETY shoes for 10-11 hours each day, so it’s crucial that they feel comfortable and do what they should.”
— Fredrik Larsson, Carpenter
“For those of us who spend a lot of time on roofs,
shoe stability is extra important.”
– Per Uddén, Carpenter

COLLABORATING WITH THE BEST
When we develop a product, quality and performance always come first. The same goes for shoes, and our users are the ones who know best what our products go through each day. We are always looking to collaborate with partners that truly understand what it takes to meet not only our requirements but those of our users. We are proud to be able to say that we collaborate with the best!

TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY — MAKE IT LAST A LIFETIME”
BEST IN LAST
The last is like a car chassis. Without stability, you won’t have a comfortable ride. The last is crucial for fit and for the shoe’s balance as a whole. This is a genuine craft that takes many years to master. Fagus is one of few companies that possess these skills and experience, and we have developed our own lasts with them.
A TOTAL OF 600 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
To develop good shoes, we need to understand the biomechanics of the foot and what it takes to support the foot and the entire body through the whole shift. So we contacted Camp Pro, whose orthopaedic engineers together have more than 600 years’ expertise in orthopaedics, foot biomechanics and rehabilitation. Our collaboration with Camp Pro allowed us to check different ideas about lasts and inserts, which has given us in-depth knowledge that is key in product development.
